Christine has been racing Sport Women's races since 1998. She won the Cane Creek Cup in the Sport Women 30-39 in 2000. This was Christine's first year competing in the Cane Creek Series. Christine raced 8 of 12 races, placing first in 5 races, with two second places and one third place.

"I can use the bike for relaxation and just cruise through the woods, hoping to catch a glimpse of a deer of I can go on a training ride with my friends just to see how fast I can go. Most importantly, it's fun!"

Beverly is a former USCF Pro Women's road racer. She raced all over the southeast in the early 1990's. Beverly began racing mountain bikes last summer in Sport Women 40+. She was the overall Cane Creek Series points winner in this category. Beverly not only brings motivation to the team, but has shared how road racing strategies can be applied to mountain bike racing.

Raced motocross from 1993-1995. Started racing mountain bikes in 1998. In 1999, Jenny raced beginner class at one of the largest races in the Cane Creek Series, the Knobscorcher at Tsali. She also participated in a 12 hour race at Hobby Park in 1999 as part of a five person team. Last year, Jenny raced 10 of 12 races in the Cane Creek Series, starting as a beginner, and then moving up to sport women. She placed first at Hobby Park, Sugar Mtn., and Devil's Ridge, and won second place overall in the Series, in Sport Women 30-39.

Started mountain biking in 1999 and raced Beginner Cross Country for two races, winning both. In 2000 she moved up to the Sport class, participating in eight of the twelve Cane Creek Series races and finishing third overall for the series. Placed second in the overall series in 2001. Moved up to Expert Class in 2002 and started racing Downhill in addition to Cross Country.

In January 2001 a friend suggested competing as part of a team in a 24 Hour Race in October. She entered a few individual races to prepare and found that her performance improved dramatically. Eventually her team won the 24 Hours of Adrenaline Race in Conyers, GA that year. Jodi joined Champion/Hearts in 2002.

There's nothing better than being in the woods with the people (and dogs!) I love. Then to combine that with a sport that challenges mindand body... it can't be beat!
